21 Savage
British-American rapper
21 Savage is a British-American rapper. Though he was born in London, Savage’s music is informed by street life in Atlanta, Georgia, the US city where he spent his adolescence. Savage rose to fame in 2016 with his breakout mixtape Savage Mode, a collaboration with producer Metro Boomin.
His debut studio album, 2017's Issa Album, and the chart-topping 2018 project I Am > I Was, solidified Savage's status as one of the most prominent Atlanta rappers of the era. He won a Grammy for his 2019 hit A Lot featuring J. Cole and in 2022, released a collaborative album with Drake called Her Loss. Among his most popular songs are Bank Account, Rich N***a Shit, and Knife Talk. He appears in the documentary Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told.
