Drake

Canadian rapper, singer, and actor

Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and actor, and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. After first finding fame as an actor on Degrassi: The Next Generation, he shot to fame after releasing a series of mixtapes including 2009’s So Far Gone and then, in 2010, his seminal debut studio album Thank Me Later, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard albums charts.

He went on to release a steady slew of chart-dominating, culture-shifting releases that infused sultry R&B grooves and plaintive lyrics into hip-hop, including Take Care—which took home a 2013 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and was named one of Apple Music’s 100 Best Albums—Nothing Was the Same (2013), Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), Honestly, Nevermind (2022), and For All the Dogs (2023). He's also released the collaborative No. 1 albums What a Time To Be Alive (2015) with Future,  Her Loss (2022) with 21 Savage, and Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor in 2025.
His string of ubiquitous smashes includes Hotline Bling—for which he won two Grammys in 2017, for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song—Take Care, Started From the Bottom, Hold On, We’re Going Home, Best I Ever Had, One Dance, God’s Plan, Nice for What, In My Feelings, and Rich Flex. He founded the OVO Sound record label in 2012 and presided over OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music.
He voiced the role of Ethan in the 2012 animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift and produced the hit series Euphoria
