American R&B singer-songwriter and rapper
Jhené Aiko is an American R&B singer-songwriter and rapper. She first entered the music industry as a collaborator for the R&B group B2K before launching her solo career. After a career hiatus to focus on her education, Aiko released her debut mixtape Sailing Soul(s) in 2011, followed by her debut EP Sail Out in 2013, featuring popular singles The Worst and Bed Peace featuring Childish Gambino.
Her first full-length album, Souled Out, followed in 2014, which hit No. 1 on the R&B charts. Some of her other popular songs include B.S. featuring H.E.R. and Beware featuring frequent collaborator Big Sean. Aiko has also featured on songs by artists such as 2 Chainz, Sean Paul, and Tyga.
