Roy Orbison was an American musician. He released albums Lonely and Blue, Crying, In Dreams, and Oh! Pretty Woman. He is known for his songs Oh, Pretty Woman, Only the Lonely, and Crying.
Orbison worked with Glenn Danzig and k.d. lang in the late 1980s and founded the musical group The Traveling Wilburys with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne.
He appeared in the film The Fastest Guitar Alive and the documentary Bandstand Live in Australia - Roy Orbison & the Everly Brothers. Tragically, Orbison passed away in 1988, but his legacy lived on with the posthumous release of his album Mystery Girl in 1989.
