Shakira is a Colombian singer and songwriter. After her 1991 debut Magia, she broke through on a global scale with her first English-language album Laundry Service in 2001, which featured the hit Whenever, Wherever. In 2005, she released Oral Fixation, Vol. 2, and the track Hips Don’t Lie with Wyclef Jean earned her a no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Over the years, Shakira has had many high-profile collaborations with the likes of Pitbull (Rabiosa), Carlos Santana (Illegal), Black-Eyed Peas (Girl Like Me, Don't You Worry), and Beyoncé (Beautiful Liar). Three of Shakira’s albums (MTV Unplugged, El Dorado, and Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran) have won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album while 2005’s Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 won for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album.


In 2020, she headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Jennifer Lopez. Her live concert films include Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour, Shakira: Live & Off the Record, and Shakira: Live from Paris. She also lent her voice to Gazelle in the 2016 animated film Zootopia.
