American singer, songwriter, and dancer

USHER is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, he moved to Atlanta at age 12 and released his self-titled debut album in 1994. His star grew exponentially with the release of his sophomore album My Way, which features the blockbuster hits You Make Me Wanna… and Nice & Slow.

USHER's 2004 album Confessions became one of the best-selling R&B albums of all time, solidifying his status as a global superstar with tracks like Yeah!, Burn, and My Boo featuring Alicia Keys. Among his most popular songs are Omg featuring Will.i.am, Love In This Club, and U Got It Bad. Over the years, he continued to evolve his sound and style, releasing multiple successful albums, winning eight Grammy's, and mentoring new talent including, most famously, Justin Bieber.
He has dabbled in acting over the years, starring in films like In The Mix and Light It Up, but he is perhaps best known for his electrifying live performances which have earned him residences in Las Vegas and Paris. In 2024, he headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show.
