Spanish actor
Javier Bardem is a Spanish actor. He appeared in No Country for Old Men, for which he won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. Bardem also appeared in Before Night Falls, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Eat Pray Love, The Little Mermaid, Dune, and Dune: Part Two, where he co-starred with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. He also co-starred in the 2024 anthology series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
Prior to his breakthrough roles, Bardem studied art at the Escuela de Arte y Oficios in Madrid and worked as an occasional extra before breaking through in Spanish-language films like Jamón Jamón alongside Penélope Cruz, Huidos, and Golden Balls.
He has since produced the films Loving Pablo and the documentary Thy Kingdom Come, and collaborated with Miguel Ríos and Lúa Ríos on the popular song Bienvenidos (En directo 2023).
