Genesis was an English rock band. Their albums include Selling England By the Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Abacab, Genesis, and Invisible Touch. Following the departure of Peter Gabriel, drummer Phil Collins took over as the group's lead singer. Both artists went on to notable solo careers. Their 1986 album Invisible Touch went multiplatinum, spawned a massive tour, and features popular songs such as Land of Confusion. Genesis appeared in the documentaries Genesis: Sum of the Parts and Genesis: Three Sides Live. The band dissolved in 2022.
