Hüsker Dü

American rock and punk band, active 1979–88

Hüsker Dü was an American rock and punk band led by Bob Mould, active from 1979 to 1988. The band evolved its sound from thrashy hardcore to include melodic hooks and harmony vocals. Hüsker Dü released albums including Zen Arcade, New Day Rising, and Candy Apple Grey. The band had popular songs such as Don't Want to Know If You Are Lonely, Makes No Sense At All, and Something I Learned Today. Hüsker Dü appeared in the documentary Color Me Obsessed: A Film About the Replacements.
