American singer-songwriter

Billie Eilish is an American singer-songwriter. After being named Apple Music’s Up Next artist and releasing her debut EP dont smile at me in 2017, the Los Angeles native dropped her first studio album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? in 2019. The blockbuster release, along with its No.1 single bad guy, won five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year, and it was listed at No. 30 on Apple Music’s 100 Best Albums list. She was named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year in 2019 (a feat she repeated in 2024, the first artist ever to claim the honor twice), also receiving awards for Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year with her brother and collaborator, FINNEAS.

She followed this up with the chart-topping albums Happier Than Ever in 2021 and HIT ME HARD AND SOFT — featuring the No. 1 hit BIRDS OF A FEATHER — in 2024. At age 22, she became the youngest person to ever win two Academy Awards after taking home Best Original Song for the James Bond theme No Time to Die in 2020 and What Was I Made For? from the Barbie soundtrack in 2024.
She has hosted the Apple Music Radio shows groupies have feelings too and me & dad radio, and she appeared in the Apple Original documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry and the concert specials Apple Music Live: Billie Eilish and Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.
