Viola Davis is an American actress. Her film credits include Doubt, Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail, The Help, Fences, Suicide Squad, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. On television, Davis played Annalise Keating in How to Get Away with Murder, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She has also received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Fences and a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her work in King Hedley II. Davis has produced as well as starred in the films Lila & Eve and The Woman King.
