Jim Rash

American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and filmmaker

Jim Rash is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and filmmaker. He formed a writing tandem with Nat Faxon. Rash has appeared in the films Slackers, Lazy Susan, Bros, Out of Office, and the Apple Original Film Fly Me to the Moon. He has also appeared in the series Community.

Rash received an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Descendants. He directed the films The Way, Way Back and Downhill, and produced the film Thoroughbreds.
