Natalie Portman is an Israeli-born American actress. She played Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and appeared in Thor and its sequel Thor: Love and Thunder. Portman also directed the short film Eve, portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the biopic Jackie, and received the Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Motion Picture Drama for her performance in Black Swan. She also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture for Closer. Portman appeared in and produced the Apple Original series Lady in the Lake. She has also directed the films New York, I Love You and A Tale of Love and Darkness.
