Dove Cameron is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. After first finding fame by playing both title roles in the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie, she starred as Mal in the channel’s Descendants franchise from 2015, appearing on the soundtrack the albums Descendants, Descendants 2, and Descendants 3. She released her debut album Alchemical: Vol. 1 in 2023, featuring the single Boyfriend, which peaked within the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 in 2022.

Cameron has appeared in films including Barely Lethal and Vengeance, TV shows such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and History of the World, Part II, and the Apple Original series Schmigadoon!.
