Annie Murphy is a Canadian actress. She began auditioning for roles in Canada in her late teens and early twenties, securing bit parts on television shows throughout the early 2010s. Murphy is known for playing Alexis Rose in Schitt's Creek, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She has since appeared in the series Kevin Can F*** Himself and the Apple TV+ film Fingernails alongside Jeremy Allen White. Murphy released the single A Little Bit Alexis (From Schitt's Creek).
