Ray Bolger was an American actor (1904-1987). He began his career in the silent film era and became a Broadway performer. Bolger is best known for playing the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz with Judy Garland. He also appeared in several other films including The Great Ziegfeld, April in Paris, Babes in Toyland, and The Harvey Girls. Bolger's songs include Once In Love With Amy and L'il Elfy.
