Ewan McGregor is a Scottish actor. He played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and reprised this role in the franchise from 2022 onward in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. McGregor has also appeared in the Netflix miniseries Halston and A Gentleman in Moscow and the films Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge, Trainspotting, Velvet Goldmine, Angels and Demons, and the Apple TV+ Film Raymond & Ray.
He won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film for his dual role as Ray and Emmit Stussy in Fargo (Season 3) and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor for portraying Halston in Halston.
Beyond acting, McGregor has directed movies including Tube Tales and American Pastoral, produced the Apple TV+ series Long Way Round, Long Way Down, and Long Way Up, as well as the film Bleeding Love, and also released singles such as Choose Life, Seabird (From Bleeding Love Soundtrack) with Clara McGregor, and Unb with 3 ZERO — as well as the EP Come What May (From "Moulin Rouge" Soundtrack) with Nicole Kidman.
