Diana Ross is an American singer and actress. She was lead singer of The Supremes, with whom she released 12 No. 1 singles in the U.S. She went solo in 1970 with the release of her self-titled debut, Diana Ross. Ten years later, her 1980 album Diana would become her most successful, yielding the No. 1 hit Upside Down. Other popular songs from throughout her career include Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Love Hangover, and Endless Love, on which she collaborated with Lionel Richie. Ross has also appeared in the films Lady Sings the Blues (for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress), Mahogany, The Wiz alongside Michael Jackson, and Double Platinum.
