

John Williams
John Williams is an American composer, conductor, pianist, and trombonist. Williams composed the iconic Star Wars theme song and received the Academy Award for Best Original Dramatic Score for Jaws. He received the Academy Award for Best Original Score for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Williams also received the Academy Award for Best Original Song Score for Fiddler on the Roof and scored the film Superman: The Movie with the London Symphony Orchestra. He scored the films Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Schindler’s List. Williams is known for composing popular songs such as The Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme) and Duel of the Fates, which he performed with the London Symphony Orchestra. Williams has collaborated extensively with director Steven Spielberg over several decades and appears in the documentaries Ennio, Music by John Williams, and Score: A Film Music Documentary.
